Norfolk® Tree Ring and Retaining Wall Planter

This garden project meets nature halfway with tree rings constructed using Cowra Concrete Products’ Norfolk® retaining wall system. The environment is gently tamed while the natural sandstone colour and the rock face textured finish are wholly compatible with the surroundings.

Norfolk® block is ideal for economical DIY retaining walls. With Norfolk® you can create structurally sound and low maintenance walls without the need for mortar.

The tree rings can provide a tidy barrier for mowing or be used as raised planters with suitable plant selection and soil preparation.

Tips

• Ensure you provide sufficient space around the tree trunk
• For planters, choose trees that tolerate soil being added on top of their existing root system
• Check the drainage requirements of your plants
